I went to the Drama Bookshop.
I parused the short play section.
I WAS THERE.
Then I made a squak/squeal of a noise. And cried.
Which is normal behavior in the Drama Bookshop.
Neither of those things happened.
However, first time I got to see my name on a book on a shelf in a store that sells books, I got to document it. Thank you, instagram.

We workshopped my hurricane play last week, featured here.
It took me over a year to finish a draft, something that's never happened before.
But, there was a beginning, middle and end.
The next course of revision was clear.
I did some of it.
Then I watched a bunch of Downton Abbey.
Like sososo much Downton Abbey.
One day this deep character flaw of tv bingeing instead of writing will be conquered. Until then...there's a bit of business with the Spanish Flu...
I am an optimist.
